How VictimCheck works
Verification first, information second. Nothing about a case is ever displayed until the person asking has proven they own the email on the file.
Step 01
Enter your email
Use the address you gave when your claim was registered. We never reveal whether an address exists in the database before verification — that protects claimants from enumeration attacks.
Step 02
Verify your email
A single-use code is sent to your inbox. Entering it proves you control the address. No password is created and no code is reusable.
Step 03
Check your case status
Once verified, you see the record tied to your address: case ID, assigned recovery company, open date, current status, investigation progress and the latest note from the case team.
